Deposit

• All you require is a deposit of $200.00, this will then become part payment of your houseboat hire fee and is required to reach our office within seven days after making your reservation. Your deposit can be paid over the phone by credit card or can be mailed to us.
• On receipt of your deposit, a confirmation letter will be mailed to you.

Hire Fee Balance

• Payment can be made by cash or credit card (Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard & Amex). Cheques by prior arrangement.
• The Balance of your hire fee is due 14 days prior to departure.
• For Christmas, New Year and Easter bookings, the balance of your hire fee is due 30 days prior to departure.
• If the balance of your houseboats hire fee is not paid in full by the due date, the vessel may be opened for re-letting.

Security Bond

• A Security Bond is required on all our houseboats. Details can be found located under the heading 'Hire Fees' as the bond varies depending on which houseboat you choose.
• The bond will be refunded to you within seven days of completion of your hire less fuel and other consumables including outboard hire if applicable, provided no damage or loss of equipment has occurred.
• Payment of your security/bond may be made by cash or Credit card (Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard & Amex) Cheques by prior arrangement.

Cancellations

• Thirty (30) days notice - refund in full.
• Thirty(30) to Fourteen (14) days notice the deposit is forfeited, unless the boat is rebooked for full price.
• Fourteen (14) days or less - deposit and balance of hire forfeited, unless boat is rebooked for full price.
• A $50.00 cancellation /administration fee will apply to all cancellations.
